Just finished a nice lunch of the new Chick-Fil-A honey pepper pimento sandwich and a frosted lemonade. That’ll cure a case of the Monday’s.

Off today so came up to my spot for clam chowder and breakfast. Brought the bike with me but forgot my riding clothes so no ride today. Deciding where I’ll go now. I have a feeling I may make it up to SF today but how many times have I said that where I ended up not going? Well, we’ll see where the day takes us.

Had a yard sale from 9 to 430. Wore out put all the stuff back up. Now just resting. Only 2 people stopped. People here don't go to yard sales out in the country. Only the main town. Did sell a ps1 game and 3 snes games. All I sold lol

Preparing to go back downstairs and continue to try to recover from the flooding damage. Still wiping stuff down and washing stuff off. It’s just disheartening. I didn’t lose everything; but I did lose every stick of furniture down there (it was a finished basement), a water heater and several other appliances, and thousands of dollars worth of music equipment. I also lost about 40% of everything else that I own, including about a third of my vintage Marvel Comics collection. Several entire runs just…. gone. Thank goodness my photo albums are stored in the upstairs office. Pardon the scattered post; my mind has been going in a thousand directions for about a week now.

Anyway, time to spark one up and get back to work.

I just bought a new pocket knife recently. They come in handy when you bite your fingernails when it come to opening things.

How was that new sammich? CFA really cut back on the size of their filets at my location.

Watching some baseball and enjoying the heat wave. Contemplating a trip to the Jersey Shore to cool down for a few days next week.

Also posting a few more pics from last week's trip

The elevation of the lake in the first pic is about 5,600 feet. The lake in the fourth pic is at about 10,000 feet

Very nice. I’m part of the G23 & 42 club!

Even though I’ve got all the Harry Potter films on 4K…I can’t help but watch ‘em when they’re airing on TV. SYFY is running a marathon. Just finished Deathly Hallows.

My homeowner's insurance bill went up 41% this year.

Sigh. I guess I'm just paying for everyone else in California to live in wildfire country.

On the bright side, my policy wasn't cancelled outright and I don't have to go chasing down a new homeowner's insurance policy after Allstate, State Farm, and Farmers stopped writing new policies in California.

Still though.

Truth be told, only the 43X is a reaL Glock.

The others are all polymer 80 builds ( three 19's and one 17 ), and the only true Glock part on any of those
are the stock Glock iron sights.
I made it a point to not use glock parts when building them except for the sights
and that's only because I liked them over the aftermarket ones

But I do love my 43X
