6 movies on one "page" feels cheap for a set that costs so much. For the money it should have one full "page" for each film with the full glorious poster art given a proper size. Yes it would make the set 6 times thicker but it's $1,500 ffs it should be thick.

I'll just wait for the disc replacement program announcement before considering a purchase.

They're not gonna make a new uncut master for Make Mine Music, at least, not for this box set. If they were going to do that, it would have been for the DMC Exclusive release, and that ship has apparently sailed.

If it had a 2K transfer of SoTS, I’d probably pony up the money for the resale value alone.

Not sure anything can say "GET OUT OF PHYSICAL MEDIA COLLECTING" more than this boxset and the physical collector's edition steelbooks of their D+ shows. They will lock on their targets and pump out so much 'deluxe' crap. I'm avoiding it like the black plague and narrowing my focus of what I collect even further, to be far away from their targets.

I do love animation though, hoping to find this boxset at a thrift or pawn shop in 15 years for $35.

I imagine they’ll probably do exactly what they did with the 55 disc UK set and simply include additional copies of the existing double feature discs, only revising the artwork to reflect each respective film. Hence two copies of Ichabod/Fun and Fancy Free, The Rescuers/Down Under, and now Saludos/Caballeros.

They might just as well have made Tale Spin: The Movie.

For the people buying it, I say good luck , if you have a sales tax of 15% like ours, you will be paying 225$ in taxes only (roughly 10*22.5$ single movie bluray or even 4k bluray combo) and not to mention import fees, such a nice deal Disney is offering.

I guess they learned from those ebay scalpers and wanted to go ahead and scalp their own customers so that scalpers will be having a field day selling the item on eBay for 3000$ or more

I am just curious what market this is being produced for. The asking price would ideally, make this the best way to release a film I won't name for the first time, and two films that are usually censored, uncut. This doesn't seem to have a market, and I'm worried Disney may blame that to the home video market in general. We'll just have to see, I guess...
