My 9/25 order "shipped" yesterday (today actually). Didn't order any of those titles.

Oldies is horrible. I gave up on them after placing a sizable order during one of their big sales, going through the hoops of calling them, having someone tell me the order would be shipped, then having the order suddenly cancelled on me.

If you’re lucky you’ll get an e-mail saying your order has been cancelled soon. When they feel like it.

When Oldies merged with MVD, it would’ve been nice if MVD raised the standards of Oldies’ customer service. Instead it’s just dragging the MVD brand down.

My only other order was during the lockdown (when they took 3 weeks for shipment), so I thought I'd give them another chance.

Shipping a few hours after your order is placed is the norm (when there's not a sale).

Yeah seriously either the response to this sale was huge (most likely) or they had a Gruv level of inventory for some of these titles. Appreciate them saying that certain movies are oos though as to not tie up any orders.

mmmm Wild Things 4k Steelbook for $21.99 is tempting, I think that's the cheapest its been. Don't see anything else to combine with it though

Presumably this is still regarding Orbit, their sale was that they didn't have stock on hand, they ordered in based on what was actually sold during the sale; they said that up front. So, some titles that were limited in nature sold out altogether, and the rest were rolling in the past week(s) since that sale ended.

Sounds like Diabolik is doing the same for their sale now.

No I just mean in general, I've been unfortunate to have some stuff I ordered canceled like three times this past month I think I should take the hint and wait until BF for the sales =p

Good to know. I thought they were just wanting to get rid of stock, not necessarily that the items were damaged in any way.

Amazon are having a Scream Factory sale. Prices are similar or better than SF's own sale for some items. The Universal Horror sets are around $31 each.
