I don't know about any of you guys, but I like how the site is set up for Twentieth Century Fox....They give a countdown of their titles so you know when exactly they are going to be released. They seem to definitely be pushing BD to it's limits by using 50 gig bd's and I for one am a lot happier they are Blu-Ray exclusive. If I had to choose between the Paramount and Fox, I would hands down choose Fox.

Fox over Paramount any day. I also like how Fox titles clearly have all the specs on the back, whereas paramounts specs are hard to find.

Fox will help Blu-Ray secure a 3-1 or higher victory this holiday season.

HD-DVD fanbots don't realize that it's not the titles that they have that will get the ratios.

They could use Microsoft money {channeled through Toshiba} to buy Warner and even Lionsgate if they wanted to and it wouldn't make a lick of difference.

The PS3 effect is why the ratios are the way they are, and the PS3 effect is increasing.

I think that once the 60 gigs run out Sony is probably going to shock the world by dropping the price of the 80 gig down to $450 in the states and probably $500 here in Canada.

With the way Ps3's and Blu stand alones are selling I have no doubt that Live Free will probably outsell Transformers in a Blu-Ray vs HD-DVD numbers game.

It's good to see Fox receiving some love. First people (understandably) complained about the $39.99 pricing, with no extras. Then they stopped releasing due to copy protection issues, and people complained about that. Now, they've announced a lot of big releases, with AVC encodes on BD50, and with plenty of extras... and people are upset about the pricing again.

Honestly, to me $39.99 isn't outrageous by any means. Still less than $30 at Amazon and many stores. I remember when standard laserdisc pricing was $49.99-59.99 (and more for special editions, etc.) and people then cared much more about the quality than the price.

Anyway, given the recent Paramount development, I think we all need to be nicer to the studios we have on our side, and stop complaining about minor issues. They're releasing again, with better specs and extras. Let's all be happy for that.

I agree that the PS3 affect is something that the HD-DVD fanboys have been trying to downplay since day 1. The honest to GOD truth is Sony's move was pure genious and it's paying off big time as they can see from obvious results. Fox has far more hits than Paramount(Even if Transformers was one of my favorite titles of all time), and the Die Hard movies will sell more than anything that HD-DVD could possibly counter with.

Fox was pretty screwed up on SD with wrong aspect ratios... 5.1 etc. They had 3 releases of The Abyss and none were anamorphic and 5.1 at the same time. Many of their cases were labelled anamorphic and were not. Where's Abyss and True Lies on BD? I'm glad they're getting their poop together though.

Funny you mention Fox using 50gb discs . . . Hollywood In High Def has just announced Robocop will be on a BD25. I thought that a bit odd.

Actually there's a rumor going around that a 40GB PS3 will be out shortly with a 399 price tag, and the 80GB will be dropped to 499.
