I was expecting something bad but i really dug this trailer now i am actually looking forward to the movie and i like Dakota and Sydney so it can’t go terribly wrong.

I guess now that the Marvels is out and the thread locked it's time to move on and pick a new target. Madame Web it is.

I think i figured it out, i think people don't want any more comic book movies, I think we want a return to grand epics. Oppenheimer did well, lets see how Napoleon, Gladiator 2 and Dune 2 do. We also have Cleopatra down the line. Maybe lets do a couple Biblical Sword and Sandal movies

All I’ve seen her in that godawful 50 SOG, and George Lucas couldn’t write dialogue that bad, so I was kind of willing to give her the benefit of the doubt.

Zero reason to lock that thread or the Snow White one. Mods are trigger happy when it comes to locking threads. Censorship at its finest basically.

Looks just as terrible as the Venom films, Morbius, and Kraven the Hunter. These Sony Spider-Man spin-off films are all trash. Written and directed by hacks with zero vision. They could’ve just ripped off episodes from Spider-Man: The Animated Series (1994) and made better films with these characters. Hopefully, people vote with their wallets and this flops.

She was pretty great in that one scene of The Nowhere Inn.

But in all seriousness, I guess I'm in the minority but I enjoyed the trailer quite a bit. I get the Marvels hate, that's easy but this actually looks pretty good and I would see this in a heartbeat. I'll keep my fingers crossed that it turns out well.

I had no interest in this when the film was originally announced but the trailer has my internet piqued. How anyone can judge the acting from these quick edits is beyond me. I’ll likely check this out opening weekend.

She is very one note too me. There's nothing distinctive about this character comparing to others that i've seen from her. She's a nepo baby with a pretty face.

Someone high up is skimming the budgets, obviously. There's no excuse for F/X like this in 2023, especially for a movie that was purported to cost over $200 million...
