There are a ton of Scorpion titles at Grindhouse Video right now at fantastic prices. Lots of them are either part of the "Black November" sale or the "Buy 2 Get 1 Free" sale, so you can really get some incredible deals. Good shop too. I've ordered from them a couple times before.

Here's a link to the Scorpion titles, although I highly recommend browsing around for Code Red, Arrow, etc. as well.

Can't really say $24.99 is fantastic. Most are $19.99. A sale for me would be $10 or below.

$25 is great considering how much these have been going for on the second hand market...
Granted a lot of these will end up with new releases in the next couple years

It's all relative, but a lot of the titles I picked up are going for 2 to 3 times as much on eBay - if not more - so it was a very nice surprise to be able to fill some gaps in my Scorpion and Code Red shelf without putting too big of a dent in my budget. Prices I never really thought I'd see, actually.

I suspect gbm82 is right that a lot of these movies will be re-issued by other labels in the next few years, but I got 12 movies I wanted for $200 (about $17 a pop), so I'm not complaining. Plus, if they get reissued, they could be like $50 4ks from Vinegar Syndrome or something, and I ain't paying that.

That said, I would have happily taken everything I ordered for $10 a pop instead.

With the Code Red thread at the top of the page, it only seemed fair to bump this one since I just watched The Glass House...awesome, gritty little prison flick.

Despite not considering myself a proliferate buyer of either of their catalogues, it's gems like this that made me continually go back to them, and for which I'll remember both Walt and Bill.

RIP to them both.

Friendly reminder that KL Studio Classics recently released the following titles as they were some of Bill and Walt's favorites that they always hoped to see released themselves:

I think all three of them were part of the recent Kino Winter sale.

I popped First Time in tonight to check the PQ (older master, unfortunately).
It was lovely of Kino to have a dedication screen to Walt & Bill as soon as the disc booted up.

Agreed, The Glass House is a fantastic little gem with a great cast, you remind me I need to revisit that one sooner than not.

Speaking of Scorpion Titles I’ve got a few I Plan on getting I have five currently. Titles I still want to buy are Stand Alone the trailer really piqued my interest, The Killing Time, Death Warrant, Death before Dishonor, The Delta Force, and Lone Wolf McQuade. Any other titles people want to suggest to me? I’m avoiding a lot of the comedy films I’m mostly into the action, thriller, and horror films from their catalogue minus Cannibal films so those are off the table.

The five I have are Grizzly cannot wait to rewatch this again it’s one of my favorite creature horror flicks of all time. Those films being Raw Courage, The Octagon excited for a rewatch, Youngblood fantastic film, and The Glass House a friend told me about this one and yeah he said it was pretty great.

*sigh*

Really would like to get My Tutor. Is there any chance that gets re-issued by someone in the next few years?

Probably so. The Scorpion release listed that it was licensed from Mill Creek Entertainment on the back cover... however that was 2013, and I'm not sure if they still hold the rights to Crown titles anymore or not.

Crown was supposedly trying to sell itself. Might explain why their titles have dried up.
