Yes, why they even have a sharpness adjustment on plasmas is confusing.

Calibrate both TV's as soon as possible with a calibration disc like the DVE Blu-ray. For now just temporarily use settings here: http://www.tweaktv.com/

umm yeah they do. look it up.

not sure if the same is true with 1080p but the native resolution for a 720p plasma is 1280x720 and the native resolution for a 720p lcd is 1366x768.

wiki, bestbuy, circuit city? this is common knowledge.

http://www.articlesbase.com/computer...on-827211.html

"One of the major benefits that LCD TVs have over plasma variants is native resolution. This industry term simply refers to the number of pixels on the screen and in this particular instance means that LCD TVs have a higher resolution in terms of pixels than plasmas of a similar size."

THANKS FOR PLAYING.

Plasma used to have a lower resolution then LCD because LCDs had 1080p while Plasmas were stuch with 720p now that both have 1080p and 720p the playing field is even. Also the difference in the 720p resolutions between Plasma and LCD that at normal seating distances the difference is neglibable.

To tell you the truth, I don't trust TweakTV.com. Those settings were way off on my TV, but definitely turn down the sharpness to a minimum.

Seriously, i dont know where the hell you got that from but as i said, BOTH have 1080p. end of discussion.

This is also laughable from that site.

Additionally the longer lifespan of LCD televisions make them a better value buy
