I'm slowly adding to my Larry Clark blu-ray collection. I'd like Ken Park on blu-ray but I don't think that will ever happen. I bought a bootleg blu-ray from the US that is great. Cover art, disc art, and a menu on the blu-ray. It's great until an official release is announced, if ever.

My Canadian Lionsgate DVD has a runtime of 1:52:44. This Studio Canal blu-ray has a runtime of 1:52:19. The Studio Canal DVD that is included in this set has a runtime of 1:47:50.

This Studio Canal set has the uncut version on blu-ray and the cut version on DVD.
I’m wondering if that dvd runtime isn’t just PAL speed up on the dvd. There wasn’t a ton cut from the film that would correlate to that much of a runtime difference, at least that I’m aware. As long as the blu-ray (and dvd) have the sex scene with Bijou Phillips and Michael Pitt where she pours hot wax on his chest and the very brief and controversial crotch shot from Bijou Phillips in the car, it’s the uncut version. I don’t particularly have any reason to believe that anywhere else in the world, or at least anywhere in Europe, would have even received the cut version to begin with. It’s usually just the US that gets cuts for (non-violent)sexual content, which we did for this film for a time. I just wanted to make sure.
