Ok. Thanks.

I thought that the Coraline Blu-ray version's 2nd disc was both the DVD and the Digital Copy. Correct me if I'm wrong.

But regardless I'm EXTREMELY excited for this release. I LOVED Up and it is definately the best movie of the year by far. I hope the press release is soon. I'd love to get a glimpse at the box art.

yeah, i was wondering what your source is. I cant wait for this.... maybe Monsters Inc. Will be Nov 10th, also.

Any word on whether a 3D version will be included? Since its Pixars 1st 3D, it would be very cool to have the 3D version. I was very happy with the Coraline 3D and wouldnt mind having UP in 3D.

Agreed, Up has less of a chance for that imo. Either way, I'll be picking this up Day 1. The same day as MW2. That's gonna hurt.

Big pass. It was just ok, nothing special. Wall-E was so much better.

Well I am in the movie poster business as you can tell by my signature and know various individuals in all kinds of film production capacity, and was told by some very reliable people that the Blu-ray will be released on 11/10/09 and and the official announcement will be released soon. I guess we will have to wait and see if I am correct or not.

The "DVD on the same disc as a digital copy" was just my opinion, I had heard that it was done recently for "Coraline" but I haven't seen that film yet. I have heard that studios have been researching from consumers if the digital copy plus standard DVD helps to entice a buyer to purchase the Blu-ray version if these extra copies of the film are included.

If memory serves me correctly, I believe the cover artwork for the Blu-ray is the same artwork used on the "final" style original movie poster which is attached here. While I am confident in the release date, the artwork could change. Here is what the final style movie poster looked like....

No problem, I just thought I would post it all here as there is a huge Pixar following. I have not seen Up myself, I just caught Wall-E on Blu-ray and was extremely disappointed in it. The animation was great but the storyline and secondary characters were a major let down. I will catch Up when it is released in November more than likely.

Wall-E to me was a lot like I am Legend but it didn't measure up to the Will Smith film. I couldn't bring myself to care about the robots and the people were just stupid and depressing. I'll get it someday because I'm a completist but not until I can get it for less than $10. Up is a lot like a lot of other movies before it but it is still touching and emotional and breathtaking, not to mention I imagine the audio track is going to give a lot of HTs a work out.

I actually bought Wall-E on Blu-ray at Best Buy for $14.99 without having seen it first. I figured I would enjoy it, but I was mistaken. I ended up selling it on Craigs List for what I paid so I was happy. Up looks promising, but Toy Story 1 and 2 will always be my favorites.

Up is probably Pixar's worst. Thought they tried too hard, they had an interesting first act that was quite dark and serious, but at the end it became a jokey, light as air (pun intended) final hour, with talking dogs and a zeplin?!? Plus, the fact they shoved 3D down peoples throats, which I still can't stand!
Having said that, I might rent it, see if my mind changes, then if so I might buy it when its cheap or they put it on Previously Viewed.
