My unique gear is PS3

Ok,... maybe not unique but about the greatest component I've ever spent time with. I love it.

I think I had something special back when I had a CRT FP. I've finally moved on to a digital FP and while I love it in many ways it's just not "special" the way CRT FP's were in the many years that I used them. I still think they make the best pictures but you need maybe a week to tune them and each resolution and refresh rate has to be done separately so they don't function well with today's stuff that puts out all kinds of frequencies.

Ok Rhett, here is a low res pic of one of the 275's, and the 9100ES I have on my phone. Don't know when I'll get home yet.

My stuff is unique only because it's old. My two channel stuff is from the 70s & 80s. The CDX-500 CD player is a huge player that weighs as much as a receiver. It has the smoothest tray action of any disc player I have ever seen. The YP-D8 is a beautiful turntable and the rarest of my gear. Unfortunately it got moved with the platter in place rather than stowed in a separate Styrofoam compartment. It came loose and gouged the ebony wood. Looking for suggestions on how to fix it. I was powering my Klipschorns with a Yamaha B-6 amplifier (some a$$ stole it). It was only made for two years. It was too close to the technology Carver was using and it was canceled. It is a really unique item. It is pyramid shaped (a pyramid with the tip cut off so it is flat on top). My brother loaned me his DSP-A2 which is a DSP-A1 without a tuner and other goodies but it has main in's and is working well. I've been looking for a replacement for the B-6 on ebay. One just sold for 280.00 but it was in really bad shape. There is a really cherry one for sale on another site but they want 1600.00 for. I'm looking something in between. I'll wait. My Klipschorns are late 80s vintage and I was planning to put an ALK upgrade into them but I caught the HT bug last year and all my electronics money has been going into it since. I spent almost one full year putting together the JBL HT Series speakers. I work in Saudi Arabia and am home for 7-weeks vacation once per year so I have a lot of time. They were not easy to find but the effort was worth it. I'll be home in two weeks and will post pictures after doing some tweaking.

If you check on Audiokarma.org you'll find a significant section on TT's. Most of the topics are related to vintage equipment as those guys are really into that. Might be worth a shot checking it out.

I haven't seen anybody else here with tactile motion actuators from Crowson Technology. I see many members have other brands, but I haven't seen anyone else with Crowson Tech.

If you have some let me know what you think of them. I bought mine after I returned from Iraq and I love using them every time I turn on the HT.
