I loved the trailers for Wall-E when they first came out, but the film just didn't do it for me. The animation was great, no complaints there, but I think it was the fact that Pixar films for me have always let me escape reality and just have fun watching them, but I felt Wall-E was trying to hard to send a message and be politically correct. You're right about the characters, too. It would have really helped to have had another character - or at least not have Wall-E separated from EVE for so long. That's where it dragged.

+1 to the dogs flying planes in UP!! That was like Mutt swinging on the vines like George of the Jungle in Indiana Jones! I actually gasped and sighed with dissapointment..
