I was at my local Blockbuster and saw the The Watchmen with a $26.99 price on it. There were several copies of the movie.

this is not a good deal....go to bbv and get Watchmen & another blu-ray for $30.

You can get the Steelbook special edition copy of the movie from Futureshop for that price now...

yeah, what CC says is right. its too new and thus not a part of the 2 for 30 previously viewed sale. the price is decent, (lowest new price blockbusters had since its come out) but pretty similar elsewhere. reg is 30 bucks or so, so i guess one is saving $5. decent deal, no door crasher thou.

what do you mean too new?
at my place both bbv and rogersvideo has them as 2 for 30.

The 2 for 30 applies to pre viewed Blus that are 19.99 and under at blockbuster

well rogers do pull their titles earlier than us, but id be shocked if i saw a watchmen at that price. cuz the knowing came out 3 weeks before it and only just went pre-viewed at my store this monday

at my store, watchmen blu0ray was not pv'd, only reg dvd, for a title as big as that they do try to get those out earlier then normal tho. anywas off topic, but i was wondering if the $10 tiv for any bd is still going @ bbv

nope... it ended middle of july. now the $10 min is on select titles.

LOL no I can tell if it's cartoon or real people...I've consider an expert in movies. I've seen it at my local rogersvideo 2 for 30, i question earlier that why only 2 weeks after their release, it is a steal, i will take pictues next timei go rogersvideo.

at my store we haven't pv'd either the watchmen cartoons, if a store only got 1-2 copies, they might not pv any and save em for 7day rentals

They're at my store too. Both DVD (2 for $22) and bluray (2 for $30).
