So yeah, there were several ways to take this story, and the way they chose, for me, would have been choice number 755,653!

Also

[Show spoiler]what was the ending? The I.S.S had been restored it looked like, it was no longer going to crash to earth. So why they leave? They had enough retions to survive, considering 4 other people were dead!

And where were they going? Just getting in the ship and seeing where they ended up?
Thanks. I'll still check it out when I can on home video.
But yes, I like a tense build up more these days than just
[Show spoiler] chaos
later on.

Well my hopes for this movie just vanished. Now I'm debating seeing it in the theater on Discount Tuesday, or just waiting to watch it at home. Such a great premise for a movie.

SPOILER ALERT: This article discusses plot twists in the new movie “I.S.S.“

“I.S.S.” is a thriller set in outer space, but the creative team was filled with pioneers in their own right. “Blackfish” director Gabriela Cowperthwaite helmed the project, with Oscar winner Ariana DeBose suiting up for the lead role — both creatives playing in a new genre for the first time.

The result is a fleet, pulpy film in which three American and three Russian astronauts are living and working together on an international space station. But things turn dire quickly when their governments declare war on each other and both groups are instructed to commandeer the space station by any means necessary.

Did you predict
[Show spoiler]that Gordon was going to come back only to die right away?
With such a small cast there was only so much that was going to happen.

12.59 for the blu-ray currently on Amazon, crazy price for a movie still in theaters.

That's surprisingly low price, agreed. Where is the expected, overpriced $24.99 for a 1 disc blu ray release that we normally get these days from large studios? I'm not complaining, the $12.59 price sounds great.

Netflix is releasing Sonic Prime for 13.59 too on blu ray I noticed.

I saw this today at a 2:30pm showing. At first I thought I be alone. Than shortly before the movie started a family of 3 appeared. A man, woman and small child. Kid had to be 5 or 6 years old. So I thought that was a odd thing.

Anyway the movie was okay. A decent 3/5. I don't see myself ever rewatching it though.

Barely managed to see this today before it disappears from my local screens. Glad I made the effort, as I enjoyed it a great deal! Good suspense and tension. Sorry to hear it's not more popular.

I liked it quite a bit. It isn't perfect but it has a great premise, strong performances and some very suspenseful moments. It was certainly worth seeing. B+ in my book.

I wish I.S.S. had more of this, honestly.

[Show spoiler]I also kind of wish Nicolas Cage had been cast as the one of the Russians, but then it would have become a completely different kind of movie.

Yeah, indies really need to realize the
[Show spoiler]ambiguous ending
has become a cliche at this point and isn't necessarily intelligent or profound.

Still, I liked the movie a lot.

But did the kid like it?

Out of the few posts in this thread, these are the two I find myself agreeing with the most.

Definitely worth the $12.59 I paid for the Blu-ray. (It's still that price!)

This movie had potential, but fizzled out in the end due to a screwy, incongruous ending.

I bought the movie on BD, not having seen it. I don't mind having it in my sci-fi collection, but I likely wouldn't have bothered had I seen it in a theater beforehand.

Why did ya buy it without watching it first?

RT reviews weren't terrible, and the price was very reasonable. So, I figured, 'what the heck?' and just went for it.

I bought it for the same price it's still selling for now.

I think you missed a plot point. One of the researchers on board had what could be the cure to radiation sickness. They are
[Show spoiler]heading back to Earth to help save the survivors.

I liked this far more than most posters here. It wasn't perfect, but the premise was thrilling, and for the most part, it lived up to it. At least a B+in my book.

No regrets here.

I wish I could say the same, but logic seemed to go out of the window during the climax, or what was supposed to be the climax. I don't want to be more specific so as not to ruin it for anyone that hasn't yet seen it, but the thinking and character motivations eluded me. It was as though they became different people in the last act.
