FINALLY!

I watch all three of them at least once a month. 12 is severely underrated.

I think both of the sequels are pretty bad. The first is phenomenal. I barely remember the other two but what I do remember about 12 is that it seemed like an excuse to go on a vacation and make a movie. 13 tried to get the magic back of 11 and failed.

That's literally correct. The last scene in 12 is nothing more than Soderbergh shooting home-movies of his well-paid cast throwing a big party for themselves. It's self-indulgent trash, and the only way I'm buying 12 is if there are no individual releases.

First one is terrific, third one is fun.

These movies all suffer a little from Hollywood worship, or whatever term you want to use. "These A-list actors are such royalty!" type stuff. Maybe that's an homage to the OG rat pack or maybe it just works for the type of movie he was making, but it's not a Soderbergh issue in general at all and I assume it was on purpose.

That said it's a minor criticism IMO and all three movies are great fun.
