here's what i would like least, worst first:

Constantine .. shite
Blade II and III (2002-04) .. awful movies
Dances with Wolves (1990) .. kevin costner ..
the Conjuring films (2012-2021)
Friday (1995)
Interview with a Vampire
Eyes Wide Shut
Outlaw Josie Wales
Pale Rider
Bridges of Madison County

leaving these as the best:

Magnum Force (1973) ..prefer it to Dirty Harry
Dirty Harry (1971)
One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest (1975)
the Terminator films (1984-2009) - just the first one is fine
Dog Day Afternoon
the Nightmare on Elm Street films (1984-2010) - just 1 and 3 also fine
the Lethal Weapon films (1987-98) - just the first is fine also
Caddyshack (1980)

Warner rarely includes original audio... So I guess I won't vote for The Terminator.

It's not their call to make.

Blade II and III (2002-04)

Also I like to see more Warner Bros 4K wish list:

any of Clint Eastwood
Tango and Cash
Dumb and Dumber (both cut)
The Hangover Collection
Gone With the Wind
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
The Client
And more!

Since there is technically an NDA with the survey, I will neither confirm nor deny Bill's post. But I will say the list is possibly incomplete. Two others that may or may not be on that survey are Corpse Bride and "Bond Talent Collection (Franchise)."

I would buy all of the following:
Blade II
Caddyshack (1980)
Dances with Wolves (1990)
Dirty Harry (1971)
the Lethal Weapon films (1987-98)
Nightmare on Elm Street (1984)
the Terminator (1984)
Interview with a Vampire

Also, it's absolutely freakin hard to believe The Last Samurai is not on the list. How was this not released last year on its 20th Anniversary?!?! Let's hope that means its already in the works, along with Twister.

As far as those bottom ones go, definitely would be in for:

Dumb and Dumber (BD PQ sucked)
Hangover films
Gone With the Wind
TMNT

I heard about a survey that took place in 2020. Many titles on that survey have since been released, but some titles have not:
  • Blade II
  • Blade: Trinity
  • The Conjuring 2
  • Gone With The Wind
  • Little Shop of Horrors
  • Magic Mike
  • The Mask
  • Neverending Story
  • The Notebook
  • Ocean's Trilogy
  • The Perfect Storm
  • Terminator 3: The Rise Of The Machines
  • Tim Burton's Corpse Bride

"Contagion" that was on it has just recently been announced.

(WB is MGM's distributor, so not a 3rd party label in the same sense). The Terminator makes sense, like Rocky, but DWW is a bit of a surprise since they licensed it to Shout on BD. Probably helps that Warner has international rights.
WB had MGM titles listed on the 2020 survey as well. With the exception of "Rocky", every MGM title listed that has been released (here's looking at you GWTW) was released by a boutique:
  • Mad Max
  • Platoon
  • Point Break (1991) (Not MGM to my knowledge, but included it in the list since it was released by a boutique, though it might be an exception since Shout Factory now owns the digital rights to the title as well.)
  • The Princess Bride
  • Robocop
  • Space Balls

I’d actually be really stoked for Interview with the Vampire. The Blu-ray feels ancient at this point.
The Terminator at this point I’m skeptical about. If he turns it into Aliens I won’t take it, even if it included the mono track.

I’d actually be interested in both Blade 2 and 3. The third movie isn’t great but I’m still annoyed they only put the extended cut on Blu-ray, which is not as good and kind of mucks up the ending. So assuming the 4K was the theatrical or both I’d be interested.

That German (standard) Blu-ray looks awesome! But the DTS-HD/Auro 13.1 sound and bitrate are totally b****in!.....the Atmos sound and bitrate are actually pretty anemic in comparison.

But then we could sync the audio to the remastered BD.

Considering this survey was under NDA, I'm astounded how fast it came out into the general population

It is confirmed that the 4K restoration of Little Shop of Horrors has been finished, so it will likely get an UHD. Amadeus has also finished its 4K restoration, though that is expected to be Criterion. And I believe Gone With The Wind will get an UHD this year. According to George Feltenstein, the biggest obstacle for why it hasn’t come out is the truly massive restoration that the film will require, due to very poor state of the OCN, three different strips of filn to scan and align (3-strip Technicolor), and it's almost 4 hours long.

I believe Corpse Bride will get an UHD for the special anniversary next year. Or it will go to Criterion eventually.

1) lol at this survey being under NDA.

2) some of these may not be large sellers (rarely anything is nowadays) but if WB is paying attn they could absolutely start a niche line of physical media aimed to fans.

3) hire me

Twister 4K restoration is in the works, if not finished already.

My point was that quite a few of the titles that were "supposedly" mentioned in a 2020 survey have yet to be released or even announced. There's more than a few titles on the list I posted that it's only a matter of time before they're released. Should they go un-released, I'll eat my cap.

For instance, I'd be shocked if there's not a box set of the "Blade" trilogy to come out either before or with the reboot next year.

Funny how Mad Max came to UHD almost immediately after the 2020 survey, as Kino released it in UHD in November of that same year!

Wouldn’t be surprised if a film like Boogie Nights gets an UHD by either Criterion or Kino.
