The real reason, i want FFX on PS6 gen with even more games. OMG, can you imagine how much more epic the game world can be to actually line up with the AMAZING scope 9f those cinematics we had. Oh, the sliding down the massive rope things to get to the place where Yuna was. Sin being even more imposing and so on. Damn, i want them going all 9ut for FFX and if that means using the previous entries to plant their feet on game design and visuals, i'm fine with that. For er... Selfish reasons i guess
I recently replayed some parts of X and forgot how dated even the remaster looks and plays these days due to PS2 design limitations. Whether its PS5 or PS6, I’ll be there Day 1

I mean, there's definitely an underlying problem with them being from the PS2 era. There's only so much you can do to pretty those polygons up without a remake but the remake hopefully taking all the lessons of the others could make for a breathtaking remake. There's actually not a massive amount even necessary to tweak on the core gameplay ideas. Just adding to them kinda like the FF7 entries have. Update the blitzball, add in more side games and even change the combat to match what we get with FF7. Above all, i want the characters to keep their core looks. I know Barrett got some stick for his design changing a bit more on the gun, but every character has got an amazing 3D overhaul true to their core imo. Hopefully they do the same for other remakes.

Man, FFX triggers so much nostalgia but i know if i tried to go back to play i would feel the dated nature of it now even in remaster form.

The design on Tifa would say otherwise lol Her assets were how shall we say reduced?

In fairness, i think after playing the game, the decision was proportional

I actually really like the balance they went for because it felt like it still got that certain design choice across but not as "big" as some maybe have wanted but actually for me, i think it works. Less back pain for all involved making the game

Seriously though, i feel like those aggrieved it wasn't "accurate" to the original are a small enough cohort to probably find a "custom" version and er, slice of their own fan ideas on particular websites should they wish to.

They absolutely nailed the look of Tifa in Remake imo.

They crushed the designs of all of the major characters in my opinion.
