I might be wrong on this, but I don't feel like Warner Bros. uses that style of packaging. I assume it'll be a standard 4K amaray w/ either a flipper or stacked discs. I'd bet on the stacked discs though.

I know they did stackers for Game of Thrones but that has like a million discs in it. Have WB ever done it for a smaller set like this? I can't think of any offhand.

It should only be a 3 disc set. I know for various WB 3 disc movies I have like the 4K's for the respective movies in The Dark Knight Trilogy and The Matrix Trilogy they are all 3 disc cases with the stacker. So I think it's safe to bet that's what we'll get for this.

Honestly, I'd like to buy a pack of replacement 4K amaray cases with flipper and swap out all those 3 disc stacker cases.

I actually forgot all those are stackers, derp. I forgot because I just ditch the movie BD and it doesn't matter though. Here all three discs would be important obviously. Hmmm.

They can't all be superb, award-winning Shakespearean actors like Keanu Reeves, but you still own a bunch of his movies. Lighten up.

No judgments but asking just out of curiosity by reading most of the pages like why many want a standard keepcase release when we have these mouth watering steelbooks available?

I am not a sucker for steelbooks in particular but just look at this artwork. I could have never imagined they will bring something this gorgeous. Just imagine having them all stacked together in your shelf. The ultimate satisfaction.

As I said I understand its a matter of personal choice but I see so many are not into these steels even from the beginning and I remember one post when standard edition was not announced where someone would order the steels are pull the 4k discs our and stack them into his old blu ray keepcases he bought previously.

It's The Ocean's Eleven Trilogy on 4K, but no Dolby Vision/Atmos...

Because I already have a huge collection and I'd rather have all three in one regular-sized package than three steelbooks taking up more space. Also, the art is nice but I'm not so wowed by it that I need to spend more money on them. The trilogy set on Gruv with 20% off is perfectly fine for me.

Only things I care about packaging wise are: 1) original poster art, and 2) booklet with essays in it. These steels have neither.

BURBANK, CA, March 12, 2024 – The trilogy of beloved crime heist films – Ocean’s Eleven, Ocean’s Twelve, and Ocean’s Thirteen - from Academy Award winning director Steven Soderbergh and starring George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, and Andy Garcia, will be available for purchase on 4K Ultra HD Disc and Digital for the first time on April 30.

Inspired by and based on the 1960 heist film Ocean's 11, the three films are directed by Soderbergh from screenplays by Ted Griffin, George Nolfi, and Brian Koppelman & David Levien respectively, and produced by Jerry Weintraub.

The Ocean’s trilogy will be available to purchase on April 30 on Ultra HD Blu-ray Disc from online and in-store at major retailers and available for purchase Digitally from Amazon Prime Video, AppleTV, Google Play, Vudu and more.

Ocean’s Eleven, Ocean’s Twelve, and Ocean’s Thirteen will be available on Ultra HD Blu-ray Disc with collectible steelbook packaging for $40.94 ESRP. The trilogy collection will be available on Ultra HD Blu-ray disc for $74.99 ESRP.

Fans can also own the Ocean’s trilogy in 4K Ultra HD via purchase from select digital retailers beginning on April 30.

The 4K remasters of Ocean’s Eleven, Ocean’s Twelve and Ocean’s Thirteen were completed at Warner Bros. Discovery’s Motion Picture Imaging (MPI) with the participation of Soderbergh. The restored 5.1 digital audio mix was overseen by original re-recording sound mixer and sound editor Larry Blake.

About The Films:
Ocean’s 11 (2001)
Danny Ocean (George Clooney) likes taking chances. All he asks is that his handpicked squad of ten grifters and cons play the game like they have nothing to lose. If all goes right, the payoff will be a fat $150 million.

Ocean’s 11, in alphabetical order, stars George Clooney, Matt Damon, Andy Garcia, Brad Pitt and Julia Roberts. Casey Affleck, Scott Caan, Elliott Gould, Bernie Mac and Carl Reiner also star.

Ocean’s 12 (2004)
They’re back. And then some. Twelve is the new eleven when Danny Ocean and pals return in a sequel to the cool caper that saw them pull off a $150 million heist. But $150 million doesn’t go as far as it used to. It’s time to pull off another stunner of a plan. Exciting locations include Amsterdam, Paris and Rome.

Ocean’s 12 stars George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Andy Garcia, Don Cheadle, Bernie Mac and Julia Roberts.

Ocean’s 13 (2007)
Danny Ocean rounds up the boys for the most dazzling heist yet, after casino owner Willy Bank (Al Pacino) double-crosses one of the eleven, Reuben Tishkoff (Elliott Gould).

George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon and more reteam with director Steven Soderbergh for a split-second caper that stacks the deck with wit, style and cool.
Ocean’s 13 stars George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Andy Garcia, Don Cheadle, Bernie Mac, Ellen Barkin and Al Pacino. Rounding out the ensemble cast are Casey Affleck, Scott Caan, Eddie Jemison, Shaobo Qin with Carl Reiner and Elliott Gould.

What is WB doing with these trailer recently? Like 1080 would be uncool but 720 is just embarrassing for them

That makes sense. But I mean some of us are so anti steelbooks I don't know why. I prefer studios to give both options to consumers but when there is none we should grab what is available. Just my thoughts.

Yeah to each their own thing. I love to have these but I never read any booklets ever. But like to have booklets and lobby or art cards but it's not a deal breaker for me if they are not included and I don't remember steels having those as a normal. I have only a handful steelbooks that comes with art cards let alone a movie poster.
