I know it's been covered on these boards, but I've never quite understood the audio situation on this movie.
The film lists Dolby Digital, DTS, and SDDS in the end credits, and was advertised at the time of release with at least SDDS and DTS, yet the 2.0 surround has usually been presented as the primary audio track, even going back to the Criterion DVD. Was the 5.1 track not finished in time for the theatrical release or something? |
