Well if it gets stolen and ends up in a pawn shop, maybe it can help you get it back. But on the other hand if it's used as a murder weapon you could be in trouble.

Try water and a little Karate Kid "wax-on, wax-off" with the wrist....

Water and a soft towel may do the trick believe it or not!

I am serious BTW.

Some funny responses! I'll stick to a serious response this time (maybe not). I had my kid's finger prints on my Plasma (his blood came off right away though ). I took a chance and used my son's glasses cleaner (I know, scary since it has alcohol), but I applied it and immediately used a tissue to remove it. It took off the finger print and did not take off any layer from the screen. I don't plan on using it more than this once. Good luck!

I dont know why you cant get it off, I cleaned Crayon off of the Vizio in my kids room and syrup off the Samsung in my bedroom. So I'm sure finger prints will go away......

Make like you're about to wash greasy dishes...a few drops of Dawn Ultra in a mixing bowl of hot water. Give it the Karate Kid treatment with terrycloth. Has to be terrycloth.

I don't want to know how syrup got on your bedroom Samsung, but it has given me ideas I will discuss with the wife!

PS. I agree - no reason why finger prints won't come off, unless the finger prints got there after someone was arrested, booked and finger printed at the police station.

I've had no problem removing fingerprints from my LCD tv. I use the glasses cleaner spray and a microfiber cloth. Good as new

All of the above. But seriously, if you want the fingerprints of your TV, the only way to remove them if all else fails is, grab the top of TV, pull till it comes of wall, claim on insurance. Presto, new TV with no fingerprints.

use a microfiber cloth dampened with water...if that doesnt get out fingerprints, you've gone some intense fingers!

side note: movers packed my tv up with bubble wrap and now there are permanent bubble wrap marks on the outer bezel trim of the tv...i've tried using water and glass cleaner (without ammonia) along with micro fiber cloths...nothing seems to work....anyone have any suggestions?

this goes for fingerprints too.
get a roll of the clear scotch tape(not the shiney back kind because their adhesive tends to leave residue behind). get the scotch tape that has the clear matte looking backing on it. pull multiple strips off say 3-4inches long. push the center of the tape ONLY on each individual finger print, and use the ends of the tape to pull it off, and keep repeating the process. after a couple of times the tapes stickyness will dull down and you'll have to use a new piece. once you get the prints or wrap marks lightened up put a dab of vaseline on the microfiber cloth (dont use any water at all) and rub in a small tight circle gradually circling in a bigger circumference each round while lightening up on the pressure you apply to screen as you go outward. I finalized my screen strokes by putting my hand inside a 100% cotton high thread count pillow case. i just did this when I moved, and the movers grabbed my plasma which had whole palm prints on the screen so you can imagine how much time it took me, but it worked!
