Now, do I sell off the steelbooks for these? I never cared about the steelbooks, as I just wanted individual cases in the first place.
Same thing I did. I'm selling my steelbooks. I'm not a steelbook guy and will only buy them if it's the only option to get individual cases. It's a waste of money for my favorite movies, I'll double dip.

This is how they should have been packaged and released the first time around. I just took the discs out of the case and put them in slim line cases and put the box on the shelf. While they are some of my most watched films I will not be gazillion dipping on these films again. Good news for those who don't own them yet.

I wonder if this will be the same flimsy outside case.

Glad I waited. I'll happily take the individual cases over the book from the first set.

This is the set i wanted for the 35th anniversary, individual cases with original art. A hard box would be perfect but i'm sure it will be the same flimsy cardboard box from the steelbook set. I guess it's safe to sell my steelbook set.

It's also on Target's website. It's been a long time since I ordered from them but I do remember it was a couple titles and they shipped in a box with bubble pillows. I would almost guarantee Amazon throws this in a bubble mailer.

All my discs from the Digibook survived the crazy cardboard packaging without scratches so I'm okay, but this is how it should have come back then.

If I'm not mistaken, the first release was my very first Gruv purchase (via ebay) that was only $10 shipped. So upgrading to this better packaging won't sting too much.

It didn't take long to sell my BB exclusive steelbook set, sold 3 days after putting it up on ebay. Looking forward to the new set with amaray cases and original art.

I was in Target last night and they still have a movie section but it's new releases only.

I haven't been back to Target after they closed the self-serve checkouts. No reason to shop in a store that assumes everyone is a thief of some kind. Same with Walmart.
