This is the sequel to Superman III's junk yard fight that we've always wanted!

(As for the cape, I guess nowadays it's largely CGI in post-production to give it the added effect they want).

I keep seeing this reel get posted of social media and it seems like a huge spoiler. Ugh. The line is innocent enough: “You look like Superman,” until you realize they are both
[Show spoiler] wearing white in front of a completely white background, indicating Clark dies and goes to Heaven. Of course I’m sure he’ll just get sent back.
Of course I could be wrong and it could be from another one of David’s roles. I’ve never seen the actor before.

If so, I'm getting a bit tired of what is becoming a trope at this rate. It does enable you to re-examine the character through other eyes, which Snyder did do to be fair. However, we also briefly had it in Superman Returns. There is more to the character than that aspect. It's like the trope of Superman losing his powers. If they are going to do it, I'd give a similar treatment as they did with Iron Man but obviously not make it permanent.

Anyway - in Gunn I trust either way.
