New trailer:
I’m mainly just jumping the thread to say how incredibly disappointed I am in Sony with marketing this film. A lot of women who haven’t read the book are going to go in expecting this romcom where Blake Lively has to choose between two men when it’s further from the truth. Some of these women going in blind will also be domestic violence victims and they will never know before it happens on screen that’s what this film is about. I find it very dangerous for Sony to leave out this information and let men and women who have experienced such deep abuse and trauma go in blind and be triggered. All so what, Sony can make a few extra millions? It’s really disturbing to me. Maybe I’m overreacting but I just find them leaving that info out to be careless. |
