Man, if I ever get those Field films upgraded. Little Children is probably near the top of my wish list, if not #1.

Two Leos Carax films previously released in the US by Carlotta Films are now with Criterion. Two new Janus pages are up for them. It was mentioned last year in the Carlotta thread that they were up on the Criterion Channel with new 4K restorations, and opened with the CC/Janus logos.

I have the Carlotta Mauvais Sang disc and it is excellent. It'd be interesting to see what improvements could come from a new 4K restoration.

I hope someone picked up Lovers on the Bridge.

Criterion are also still selling Costa-Gavras' The Confession digitally, so I'm not sure how pertinent it is to having physical rights still. I'd love to see Z come out, but I wouldn't hold my breath for it.

I can't recall a specific time right now, but I recall in the past they used to be later in the afternoon, if not early evening. Lately, they've been much earlier, usually around Noon EST. I don't think any new screenshots have been found yet, so I wonder if we'll see announcements today. Perhaps Criterion caught on to people finding those out ahead of time, and put an end to it.

But they aren't streaming The Confession. I suspect the Z DVD is OOP for the same reason that a number of other DVDs are OOP, and that is that they don't see a market for keeping them in-print, but that doesn't mean they have lost the rights, but, until they confirm one way or the other, it is all guess work.

I also see that the Apple TV listing for The Confession is copyright Paramount Pictures, but the studio listed is Criterion.

If Miramax's rights expired, it wouldn't shock me if Janus also picked up Lovers on the Bridge

Been following announcements since like 2010 or so, and for awhile there they were as late as 5:30, it’s really only more recently (the last few years) that they’ve been coming in the noon region.

And lack of screenshots could also just mean no upgrades.
