Unhappy Wal-Mart Seems Slow on This

The Big Box retailer that I've seen bringing in a better selection of HDM is Target.

I don't know how big a footprint Target has in North America, but in our area they cater to a slightly more upscale shopper than Wal-Mart. Things at Target are generally more expensive, but have a nicer quality and higher quality to them in general.

At the Target stores in our area they have about 15 - 20 titles in about 1/2 and 1/2 Blu-ray to HD DVD.

That $25 - $30 price tag at Target doesn't look nearly as out of place to a Target shopper as it might to a Wal-mart shopper who might go looking for a $5 DVD.

But really, does anybody really buy those $5 DVD's other than grandmothers at Christmas who don't really understand what product they're buying?
