Both good options, similar. I'd consider which display you like the best.

I'd start with the G15. Then piece together speakers and AVR later or..

keep your TV and use the 2200 on speakers and AVR.

well right now i have a 42" & thats going in the bedroom with my panny bd-35 & phillips htib. my living room is what im buying for........ I alrady have the APC H-15....soooooo i figure

Panasonic TC-P50G15 50" VIERA G15 Series = $1,179.00
Samsung BD-P1600 = $220 (with 2 movies & HDMI cable)
Sony STR-DN1000 = $340.02
Yamaha NS-SP7800PN Theater Speaker Package (Piano Black) = $352.92
GRAND TOTAL = $2091.94 delivered to my door

Or............

LG 50PS80 = $1199
Panasonic DMP-BD60 = $194.99
Sony STR-DN1000 = $340.02
Yamaha NS-SP7800PN Theater Speaker Package (Piano Black) = $352.92
$2086.93

a diffrence of 5 bucks give or take a few pennies lol....i guess the diffrence comes between the tv's & blu ray players. I want Netflix, the LG comes with Netflix built into the TV already...so thats why i would get the Panasonic Blu Ray.
The Panasonic G15 seems like a better TV from the reviews (not that many reviews on the LG) my onlu concern is the Samsung blu player........i have heard horror stories of samsung players, even though i have installed 3 1500s with no customer complaints.
SOMEONE PLEASE HELP or any other suggestions on TV/Blu Ray combos with NETFLIX!!
Im pretty much set on the sony av reciever & yamaha speaker package they seem pretty legit

I like the Samsung T.V.

I don't think you'll have an issue with either player.

Good luck on the move!

I would go Panasonic TV and Panasonic BDP over the LG TV and Samsung BDP everyday.

You may find this a better speaker setup too. http://www.vanns.com/shop/servlet/it...ke-classic-5-1

Everything else is good.

I would stay away from the LG they don't get very good reviews, plus i had one and it had to be fixed 5 times before futureshop took it back and i got a samsung. Panasonic or Samsung would be my first choice for a Plasma in your price range.
