But are they going Blu exclusive, or are they also releasing HD DVD?

Please keep us all in the loop as to when these titles get released and where we can order them.

I'd like to pick up Children of Men and Hannibal Rising.

They havn't announced any HD-DVD movies, and I think it's certain they they will be exclusive. Note that they also handle the distribution of the PS3.

Nordisk film is also a member of Blu-ray forum which is an official site promotin Blu-ray. The message on this site is very clear: "The studios has chosen a side"

Blu-ray is also clearly more visible here, and I think it's very important that we got Nordisk Film.

They also announced "Revolver" and all 5 releases will be out on November 20th. A further plus is that they are around $5 cheaper than warner titles (though still way more expensive here than in the US)

In Denmark we don't dub. We always have english subs aswell as the nordic languages!

So shouldn't be a problem to import them. My source is hinting to me they will be regionfree

Generally, across Europe films are released on disc in their original language(s). Options for subtitles are given on the discs. Sometimes dubbing options, too.

There are few exceptions.

249,95 kroner / 7.4491 = €33.55

249,95 kroner / 5.3679 = $46.56

I expect an election regarding the Euro within the next couple of years. We said no the first time.

I think Germany still likes to dub movies, atleast a few years back, not sure how the movies are handled today, the only movies in Sweden that gets dubbed are the cartoon/child movies/series (the original language is generally always selectable tho)
