![]() Was with Network https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=326940 Review of the Network release https://www.dvdcompare.net/review.php?rid=6313 I enjoyed it a lot. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0DLLF9FGY/ Last edited by Nitroes; 12-02-2024 at 06:18 AM. |

There's a lot more ex-Network releases than just The Woman in Black on the way according to Amazon.
Hammer House of Horror on Blu-ray, Randall and Hopkirk and The Persuaders! are getting DVDs (for now...), Sapphire & Steel, a couple of other anthologies - Chiller and Tales of Unease. A lot of people missed out on the latter as it wasn't around long and disappeared extremely quickly when Network shut down. A couple of Hammer movie re-release - Countess Dracula and Twins of Evil, again DVD only for the moment, but the old Network BDs are still easily findable at the likes of Rarewaves. |

The Wombles is actually a Fabulous title so should be in their thread.
http://www.fabulousfilms.com/products/875 I assume Spirit wholesale their titles to retailers on behalf of Fabulous who are producing it. All these ex Network ITV titles from Spirit is good news coming back in print. As with OGM and Fremantle the real value is if they start releasing new ITV content and not just reprinting OOP Network stuff. |

Well, that spine only has the Spirit logo and it's listed as Spirit Entertainment.
No doubt there's a connection but I think it makes sense to have them separate as Uncle Bulgaria used to say about plastic and polystyrene. Criterion use Spirit for their distribution and we wouldn't be wanting to mix the Wombles with Akira Kurosawa. Oh, wait a minute ![]() |

Old Gold is Fremantle owned Thames material only. It seems they inherited the catalogue when Network went under or were created to take that over.
It is interesting to see other ITV owned titles (i.e non Thames) being resurrected via Spirit Entertainment. Tales of Unease which I think was London Weekend, has been going for silly money. |

![]() ![]() ![]() Nice artwork. I see the only non-hammy Dr. Lecktor Brian Cox is there too. I don't think I've seen that episode. Assume it's similar to the Australia release: https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Hamme...271152/#Review https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0DLLFXQSQ/ |

Listings for BD re-releases of Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased) and Twins of Evil are now up at Amazon.
And the fiftieth anniversary set of The Prisoner is also now down for a DVD re-release on 16 December, so a BD probably isn't far behind. |

With their weekend 10% off RWFLASH10 that comes out at £41.99. I have the old Network releases (Blu-ray for the HD and dirt cheap 8DVD box for the extras). |

It will happen but ONLY if whoever releases it acquires a whole lot of other stuff (crap titles included), like Network did, along with it.
