Blu-ray Samurai

![]() ![]() No love for this? I enjoyed it thought Stallone was very good. A couple of plot holes the CGI couldn't fix but a damn good dramatic story. Some of the ugliest baddies I've ever seen on film too. Germany has a Blu-ray https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=380917 https://www.deepdiscount.com/armor/031398347927 https://www.wowhd.co.uk/armor/031398347927 https://www.target.com/p/armor-blu-r...4/-/A-94369403 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DK4GDQBP/ ![]() |

Stallone is an important part in the film as I said he's very good.
I'll buy it when it's $10.00. The trailer is very well done. There's some information on the production problems: Quote:

I don't know why it has always stuck with me but I remember back in the day Jason Patrick was on Entertainment Tonight and was asked why he didn't make very many movies since Lost Boys. He responded that he turned down a lot of offeres because they didn't meet his standards. His next movie was Speed 2.

Rented this on streaming and thought it was ok. Stallone and Patric were good and i noticed compared to previous Randall Emmett movies the supporting cast wasn't terrible. He usually uses the same investor actors in all of his films like Meadow Williams, Tyler Jon Olson, Lydia Hull and Texas Battle and thankfully they were absent here.

I think Stallone done this as he has connections with the film's producers/financiers. If he helps them they'll help him.
Although this isn't a 'Stallone' film his name brings in an audience so his massive fee (compared to the budget) is worth it. 95% of these tpes of films are utter grabage but the odd one gets past the smell test thanks to the story and cast. |

Especially when. The more money you have the more money you need. That's why lotto winners all go broke because they can't make that sort of money ever again after they have it. If someone turns themselves into hundreds of millions they likely aren't just going to stop (exception: pro sports), probably ever, it's a mindset. Stallone has always been like that imo. There is always more money to earn. Besides Stallone can't tarnish his image by doing cheap movies at this point, even Nic Cage has been immune to that. And it's also why Coppola just busted all that money making a vanity film off wine profits, he dgaf. |

I think that's in a perfect vacuum, though, most people would spend $100m before they invested hardly any of it or had time to get any return (lotto winner). Celebs do that all the time I have no doubt, maybe that's the difference between wealthy and rich. But I still see billionaires losing tons of money on stupid stuff they are just too well off to go broke. You can give someone higher and higher raises at a job and most will still be living paycheck to paycheck once habits catch up. Saying Stallone could have cashflow problems doesn't seem out of the ordinary imo. Having the Hollywood icon lifestyle also is it's own Curse, Stallone can't just live in an RV, when I saw his houses on a show once it looked like Michael Jackson tier Neverland type stuff, the dude probably burns money on upkeep. Watch Mike Tyson talking about all the money he lost sometime it's fascinating.
