Shazam 2 is probably the worst, pointless, forgettable, boring comic book movie.

I liked Shazam 2 and I liked Catwoman.

Supergirl was not a good movie but Helen Slater looked great and given the time that movie was released it was worth watching and buying.

IV was watchable and better than Thor Love and Thunder. Now that may be the worst comic book movie.

This movie is banking so much on her sex appeal that it actually starts to become comical rather than sexy.

So we all know the basic gist of this film's plot right?

Patience Phillips is a design artist for the company Hedare Beauty who discovers the corruptness of the company when the socialite head of it is peddling a beauty cream that will lead to death. After being found out, Patience ends up "dying" but coming back with cat-like agility and powers to defeat her on top of a skyscraper as Catwoman.

Well, now listen to this.

Jacqueline Tavarez is a up-and-coming pop star who goes by the persona Nightcat who finds out drug dealings have been happening in her label and is then caught by the socialite head of the drug dealings. Tavarez is then injected by Dr. Ecstasy with an experimental designer drug that gives her cat-like agility and powers that she uses to defeat the head on top of a skyscraper.

Yeah, I think I figured out where WB got the plot for this film from. A random uber-obscure Marvel character that tried to cash in on Dazzler's success by having an "up and coming" singer as a superhero complete with tie in album:

Those two movies are sequels to actually good movies so they get a 4K by mere association. This is a standalone film.

Does it matter? Studios release box office bombs all the time to 4K. Even the boutique companies will license and release bombs. Then on the flip side, you have actual box office and critical hits that are still waiting for a 4K and in some cases, even a Blu-ray release.

I didn’t hate this one, not at all. At the time, I was not at all into the original DC character, so I was much more open to the concept of a different Catwoman. Couple that with my interest in Good Girl/Bad Girl art in all mediums, and this was an easy thumbs up from me.
