Grain on the KL looks strangely thick and electronic during the OCN shots, almost like Turbine’s fake grain on top of older masters. I’m not suggesting this happened here based on the caps alone but it’s not out of the question either since the old master is good and therefore would be suitable for such tinkering.

I thought my settings were off because the grain looked odd. Settings were fine so I don’t know why it looks like that.

How does it look in motion? Below is also seemingly not the most organic presentation when judging from the site review & caps, which do look similar to how Snake Eyes looks here. I refrained from commenting on the grade but even when considering the tone mapping difference it’s a noticeably less dynamic regrade and feels somewhat anemic.
