Rewatched yesterday, such a fun fantasy adventure. If the CG work had a bit more polish it would be perfect. Bryan Singer always seems to have crappy CG in his movies though which is odd considering the budgets he'd usually given.

The 3D is damn good throughout, yes it could be stronger but this is a solid native presentation.

We got it a few months back and were surprised at how much we both enjoyed the screenplay and the 3D. Fun film. Again, these films are so much enhanced by 3D.

Exactly, it kind of reminded me a bit of The Princess Bride in terms of tone, there was certainly a lot of playful humour to be found and it all worked very well.

One of my favorite fairy tales movies. I'll be glad when and if they do the second Hansel & Gretal Witch Hunters. Anyone heard anything?
