Super excited! I like the console design and the magnetic joy-cons looks like a huge improvement. Can't wait for that April Direct!

So a June release, most likely. Was hoping the April rumors were closer to the truth, but it is what it is. A little disappointed we didn't get SOME glimpse of more than just Mario Kart, especially the next 3D Mario.

Will it be June? I think it was October until March for the first so this could potentially be five months to launch AFTER the April Direct.

I'm expecting a fall release as well. They have to give ample time for people to preorder.

Really surprised they dedicated actual joycon mouse mode support this time considering the current console already has mouse and keyboard support for a small number of titles.

It was 2 months from the January event to launch, so launching mid-to-late June is most likely I’d say. Preorders started in January too.

Also note their tour events end June 1st.

I think it was the new game. It showed 24 karts on screen, which is definitely not in MK8 Deluxe. Maybe it's MK8 Deluxe: Ultimate Uber Delicious Edition?

I'm anticipating a June or July release. August at the latest.

Also, I'm not a fan of the color scheme. The little bits of neon red/blue around the analog sticks and the sides against the flat black just doesn't look appealing. Would rather a off-black/gray option for those bits.

I'm assuming anything using BT/wireless "should" work fine, even current JoyCon. I've got an 8Bit Do Ultimate I for sure want to carry over. Nintendo also has all the NSO Controllers I'm sure they're not going to remanufacture.

The backwards compatibility is a big deal to me. Definitely interested. Will have to see on price and availability.

What's too much for folks? If it's LCD a $400 price would give me pause depending on launch lineup. I'd feel much better about $400 if it were OLED.

399.99 is what I'm expecting. Maybe 449.99 with a game bundled in? I think anything more than that is too much, considering the hardware inside.

I'm certainly ok with $399 USD/$499 CAD. I would be very surprised if Nintendo pushes above that mark as they've always been good with keeping the barrier to entry low.

I'm in Canada, so even $499 would be fairly steep considering the Digital PS5 starts at $579, but it's really not bad if we get another 7 years out of a system.
