Maybe true, but theres a lot of titles that missed the mark.When i have to rely on 3 or 4 different places for reviews,to get a feel on the pq of a title,to me thats not good.

Notings perfect for sure,but in the case of blu-ray it should and can be better.I hope for the sake of the format the studios take a little more pride and care when it comes to titles like this important.I know i'm dreaming.

I think the issue is that this turned out to be worth less than $10 bucks and if we are satisfied with the subpar product, we will see more of it moving forward. IMHO.

OMG I hated IRON MAN not so much the PQ but the AQ was bad, not loud enough and weird. I honestly think every studio should use PCM and DTS HD MA, and only use Dolby TRUEHD on movies that were not that important.
DTS HD MA is the way to go, and maybe that is why IRON MAN was not the best in sound.
Transformers was much better but Transformers 2 is going to be DTS HD MA so lets see how the cookie will crumble

I don't follow. What's wrong with getting a couple of opinions on something before you buy?

Do you think that it's even reasonable to expect that one site can have the perfect review of every title, every time? Or that you're going to agree with that opinion every time?

I am just not a fan of panny's or sammy's, sorry if I hurt anybody's feelings, but understand that they are entry level bluray players. Should I repeat myself again? Denon, Marantz, Pioneer Elite, Sony or Sony ES and maybe even Yamaha is the way to go, anything else is just trouble and all you get is hiccups, it wont play certain movies, etc. Who needs that??
I believe bluray was meant to be highend, and thats the end of the story.
So please dont be insulted go buy one of the brands I mentioned and if you dont notice a difference then you can talk to me, until then take my advice and at least try it and see for yourself.

Price is a variable. I'm willing to accept a few things inherently 'not perfect' if I pay a discounted price. Same goes with scratch and dent furniture.

Not what I expected from a movie that made $743,232,845 worldwide and this includes the dvd and bluray's too.
They should produce reference quality in both Picture and Sound no matter what, especially when it makes this much money.

I dunno about you, but USUALLY, the more money you invest into something, the more EMOTIONALLY invested you become in that thing. Be it a steak dinner, car, house, girlfriend or TV. You shell out big bucks for something, you expect something to show for it.

After the rebate, I will have paid less than $10 for this Bluray. Am I going to waste my time b*tching and moaning about something so menial for weeks on end? Sure, the PQ is not perfect, but its not worth a 100 page thread "discussion".
