How can the DTS-HD MA version be different enough from the US release with Dolby TrueHD to warrant bending over backwards for it?

They're both lossless.

I wish to apologize, my purchase of the Blu-ray did not produce the announcement of a 4K release. On a brighter note received and watched the Blu-ray and it looks and sounds great!

Could you please, possibly share with us, which edition exactly did you got (link from the store), and maybe, for me, if the movie starts as soon as you put the disk in the player, instead of going to menus, as it would do "usually"?

I’m not going to be much help, bought used on eBay. No menu straight to movie attached a picture of the back.

Also, I've just been able to confirm that the french edition is exactly the same disc as the US. Same vc-1 encode and audio options. Another user was kind enough to send me a very high rez pic of the back cover, besides confirming the specs from playing the disc itself. I've uploaded the picture to the movie page but I'm also leaving it here for you guys to check for yourselves. So once again, if you want the best sound and image the korean is the way to go until a 4K edition is released.
