$80 is a lot but my opinion is this is at least as good as the marvel movies we've been getting from Japan so if those are worth $80 to you I think so.

For $80, it'd better be the region free Belgian steelbook. Otherwise, I see region B steelbooks in the $30-40 range. The region free Korean release in a slipcase/box comes with Dolby Atmos though...

No way, not for $80.

FWIW a Frenchman shipped me a new-in-box region-free Belgian steelbook for around $8.

Just watched this for the first time in 3D— excellent depth, really enhances the whole experience. My second time seeing this film and it is such a fun pulpy ride. So glad it got an amazing 3D transfer!

I'm in USA Minnesota...I don't know if I'll ever get the chance to buy this in 3D for region A now...I haven't seen any on ebay in like almost a year....and it was $80 then...I think I let my chance to get a 3d copy of valerian slip away.

I was able to buy a Reigion A or region free version steelbook copy off ebay finally for about $80 3d version, I'm guessing it's region free from when the movie loads. They show up so infrequently to be able to play in the USA....the region B this movie is plentiful but not stuff for Region A I'm in. IT does have the white labeling. I watched like the first few minuted of the movie in 3D just the intro, its breathtaking. I'm so glad I got this, 100% recommend the 3d version it's awesome!
