The Substance took that long I just bought the U.S 4K version. Weird scheduling.

Looks like release dates have been sorted out:

DAHOMEY - BD / DVD - March 10th
BIRD - BD / DVD - March 24th
THE SUBSTANCE - UHD+BD / BD / DVD - March 31st
QUEER - BD / DVD - April 14th

Kinda a shame they haven't done a UHD+BD for QUEER, would've bought that. Maybe they'll change their minds and release one later on? Don't really want them to keep doing that though as I already bought DECISION TO LEAVE before they did the UHD+BD release.

Yes, it’s a damn shame Queer is BD only. I have a bad feeling that A24 will be the same with their release. This most gorgeously shot film deserves so much better but I find it quite shocking that they’re not even betting on Daniel Craig’s appeal towards getting 4K copies sold.

I assume they're basing it off the box office numbers. Their previous UHD titles all did $20M+ worldwide. Queer did less than $5M (although hasn't opened in most of Europe yet).

Of those only Queer and Decision to Leave did less than $1M in the UK, so I think rapta's hope that they change their mind (as they did with Decision to Leave, presumably on blu ray sales) is the best chance of it happening.

The Suspiria I ordered back in November suddenly shipped yesterday.

The Drive My Car I ordered at the same time is cancelled, but there's a bit more hope for the backbook now.

I was going to pre-order it from Amazon and the estimated delivery date was April 7. I held off streaming it for months and in the end I ran out of patience.

I don’t think I’ve ever read a report of a MUBI release having not arrived with a slip cover after release, so please disregard if this is common but I’ve received their 2021 release of Limbo without slip from Rarewaves today. I got New Order (released a bit later) at the same time and it had a slip.
