Prices have gone up and they're certainly not cheap like they used to be. However, they're not terribly expensive. Depending on who you see. I can go to concerts here for relatively cheap. If you're going to see Dylan or McCartney you're going to pay. Most of the ones I go to see don't cost much. And if they do go up, I'll pay that because this is how they make their money now. Streaming has pretty much killed the industry and we just now seeing the writing.

Prices have gone up, but a lot of that can fall on the artists who help set prices, if I'm not mistaken. They could at least. And for some of those I don't mind. But for the Mega Stars, I do. Taylor Swift could have easily fixed her ticket issues, but refused to. A lot of these big artists do. They don't care. Beyonce is charging outrageous amounts of money for her concerts this year. Tom Petty had a song about that 23 years ago. His song came true to an extent.

The bigger the venue, the higher the price. That has to happen because of the amount of manpower it takes to put the show together and to move it from city to city. They need to make a certain amount just to keep the tour on the road.
