Fantastic Four: First Steps Has a Real Galactus Costume — Villain Isn’t Fully CG

Matt Shakman confirmed Galactus serves as the main antagonist in The Fantastic Four: First Steps and revealed the team created the character differently than in previous adaptations. “I didn’t want to just use motion-capture for Galactus. I wanted to actually have someone there embodying the part,” he told Entertainment Weekly. The director then explained that the team built an entire costume for actor Ralph Ineson, who portrays Galactus in the film.

Well, Galactus pretty much looks like a "regular" giant human being wearing otherworldly body armor. There's really no need to go the full CGI character route. Good call on their part.

Women who truly love their men are not supposed to play malicious heart or mind games.

Those scenes were just played for breezy laughs, chill out.

That's why I said "mostly a breath of fresh air". Vanessa's version of Sue appears much more loving and secure than Alba, which is a huge improvement in my book. Reed doesn't seem to be afraid of her, and while I'd like Johnny to be a womanizer for at least the first part of the movie, maybe they'll explain it in a way that makes sense. As for the Surfer, that's probably the most annoying change, but one major one usually doesn't turn me away from a whole film.

As someone who has the Kirby, Byrne, Waid and Hickman comic Omnibus’s, with the Hickman run being my favorite comic run of all time (after Miller’s DD run(s)), I can’t say that. But to each their own. At least you seem to be in touch a bit with reality (unlike a handful of others here).

Based on what I have see and knowing that they are supposedly taking influence from Kirby, the execution looks like something an AI image generator would spit out.

Having grown up in a family with several manipulative people of both sexes, I don't find any humor in it at all.
