I'm also interested. I almost bought the import months ago and I'm now hoping the PQ is better in order to push me into a purchase. The US Blu-ray isn't 'horrible' PQ wise but it sure isn't good. It has more detail over the DVD but also good deal of grain throwout the movie. I'm pro-grain but this could have been cleaned up some without losing detail. The colors were weak, as is the contrast... Think greyish blacks. The picture may be stretched a tiny bit, I'm waiting for comparisons to know for sure. Be warned the audio has a audio sync issue and no chapters are included!

They did for me and

but I did pay for shipping and have to ship back the DVD on Wal-Mart's dime. The Blu-ray is on the way... I also bought it at Best Buy and opened it, so the one from WM is going back to BB.

Not worth the trouble for a crappy Blu-ray... Good movie but yeah...
