Default Ps3 slim question

I just picked up a slim last nite and set up all the settings. Now should i change the audio settings from linear pcm to bitstream now? I used to have pcm selected for my 60gb but the slim bitstreams so thats the right option correct? The reason why i ask is because when i select bitstream it says i may loose some audio or something to that effect. So pcm or bitstream??

depends on your receiver. if your receiver can decode hd audio then select bitstream. if not but can only output pcm audio like your 60gig did, then keep it on lpcm. the message it says is the same as the ps3 fat. just ignore.

edit: i believe your receive can decode hd audio so slect bitstream.

If you go with bitstream you'll lose secondary audio, like PIP commentary and the clicks/buzzes in the menu. Personally, I would go with PCM because I like the secondary audio and don't think bitstream audio would sound any different. This doesn't mean I wouldn't bitstream at least one movie just so I can see the display read "TrueHD".
