You don't even need to check your email to see if you have any $5 coupon offers. If you go under your purchase history if anything you bought offers $5 it will say 'Review your item to get $5'. I've done majority of mine this way.

Walmart isn't making it easy to use thozs $5 coupons. You get two items and ready to check out and suddenly one of the two.items is out of stock now. A pain I tell ya.

For me, Walmart has lately been having that issue even without having any coupons.

Just this week, I kept getting this "out of stock" glitch(?) when I was trying to check out with items that were both in stock.

It took multiple attempts of me removing the items and adding them to the cart over and over before it finally went through and then let me go to checkout.

I've noticed this happening when you add two items to get free shipping. Then, one or the other mysteriously shows out of stock. haha

Exactly!!! It's like they don't wanna give you free shipping on the two items! It looks me forever to try and get Mickey 17 and Captain America Brave New World 4ks to finally able to place an order.

I checked but, I currently don't have any. The last two movies I ordered from Walmart were, Nosferatu (which I used a $5 code on) but, didn't get another code from that order. My most recent purchase on Walmart was, Companion but, that came from Gruv but, sold through Walmart. So, nothing for now.

When the last wave of Star Wars/Marvel steels were released, I took advantage of the codes. I would order one, get a code and order the next one, and so forth. Ended up saving some money there

The pre-order price is still $31.99, which a few other Sony releases that were stocked DVD only in-store were retailing at for pre-order a bit before release..

I think this (clearance) is happening at stores prepared to do a remodel. I saw this recently at a store and they still had movies after the remodel (just fewer than before).

Can confirm this sucks. The OOS stuff is insanely frustrating, but they also shouldn't make you put in work to use their own coupon/buy shit from them.

There is one walmart doing a full remodel... to the point where everything is squeezed to half of the store... that was the last walmart around here that had 2 full aisles of physical media... now they are down to a single end cap. :/

They probably figure it you want the item bad enough you'll use the coupon to eat up most of the shipping costs. There for not really saving anything

Walmart has always cared less about movies than Best Buy but more than Target.

Complain all you want but this is the last stop for physical, seen Target lately? YIKES!

I'm not sure what kind of deal Walmart has, with most likely a rack jobber, but it's probably:

we will not EVER be stuck with excess inventory, you will take it all back if it doesn't sell, we do not want to EVER be stuck with extra steelbooks or special editions. Make as many as you want and dump the unsold inventory at Gruv or Please Rewind. We don't care if a new release steelbook is in short supply. We will not make any extra effort to hold a quantity back and put them on sale at midnight the day of release. We will only bring 2 steelbooks into every store, the rest online and preorders. We love charging the HIGH DAY ONE price and then selling out.

I bet when it comes to movies and music Walmart calls the shots, we're doing you a FAVOR just bringing your product into our stores.

Finally, let's face it Walmart doesn't give a SH!T about movies, vinyl or CDs and I'm saying this as a dedicated Walmart shopper. Their clothing and clearance sales are amazing. George T shirts for $1.00, a 2XL hoodie $1, puffer Jacket $10, Full Size Hotel bed sheets $10, Queen Size $20. Plastic Bowls and Dishes for 50 cents. All the food is at low prices, consistenly lower than supermarkets. The only time supermarkets are cheaper or equal to walmart prices is when they have a sale on their "app." Walmart doesn't make you use an app to get the deal.

Complaining about Walmart is cathartic but won't change anything. So much comes to streaming relatively fast. I'm glad for the Kino and current Amazon sale. I have the Regal Unlimited so I can wait now on so many movies. Very few films are Day One worth owning for me and I think a lot of people are starting to feel that way.

Still waiting for a decent price on Kraven.

I miss Best Buy, we never had it so good.
