As an update to this, I received my copy today of the German edition (cover version A), and have added a photo of the back cover to the Blu-ray.com page as I'd not seen this available online. (It's quite glossy material so was difficult to get a good image!).
![]() Contrary to what I had previously thought, this edition DOES in fact have English subtitles for anyone who might find them useful. And to confirm the13thman's comments, it does appear to feature all of the major extras from the Vinegar Syndrome version, as well as adding the archival commentary track from Paul Morrisey, as well as an interview with Udo Kier which is listed as being exclusive to this release. On the downside (though not really an issue from my perspective) my copy came with only one pair of anaglyph glasses, whereas it looks like the VS version comes with two pairs, and the included booklet is in German. I don't know when I'll get a chance to properly delve into the set, but am very pleased with the first impressions. |
