Well, it looks like I lucked out.
The store opened at 10. I was there at 9:30 am and was literally the fourth person to show up and casually wait outside. At the end of it all, there were just 8 of us there by 10, we were let in, and I was the 4th person to secure my preorder for the 60 gig PS3, so I guess I'm good to go! This was all over with by 10:05 am. All of us were expecting more madness than what this was. Maybe in the big cities it was and will be more so. Sure enough, a couple of stragglers came in at about 10:30 and found out it was too late. They walked out without any fuss. I'm on the East coast, FWIW. |
