I noticed AI Limit released on consoles and PC. There are Asian and Japanese region PS5 disc releases available through Play Asia. I tried the demo and reminds me of Code Vein, though without a stamina meter. Actually, it feels like someone got tired of waiting for BAMCO to make a sequel, so they made their own.

Heads up on the Indiana Jones PS5 disc version. It requires internet to download the game, as the game is not playable only from the disc. Go figure... They are favoring digital only gaming, and want disc gamers to get used to the idea of downloading while also making the disc a useless key.

Thanks for the update.

That is frustrating.

I don't know what the delay was for, other than the most recent update that finally included all of the contributors' names for the Kickstarter Campaign merchandise and comic book in the Credits section of the bonus content on the game. I'll double check for some of the minor bugs I found in the games, like disappearing sky at some angles, and getting trapped in a wall on the bell level.

Lost Records: Bloom & Rage (both tapes) is getting a physical edition but no date yet.

Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake is getting a physical edition but no date yet.

Isometric rogue-lite action RPG Yasha: Legends of the Demon Blade is getting multiple region physical releases on PS4, PS5, and Switch.

Shinobi is also getting a standard release in other regions for anyone who doesn’t want to wait for LRG.

Well that is disappointing news. I hope the disc version sells well, just to mess with their estimates, but I don't doubt that you are correct. Why pay for the physical disc when it only serves as an additional step between you and playing your game?

This is why I wish there were more outfits like Limited Run Games. I like what they do, but they can't do it all themselves.

Disappointing, agreed. It joins discs as keys without fully playable games of Harry Potter Hogwart's Legacy, Star Wars Outlaws and Avatar Frontiers so far.

I got Spirit of the North and Spirit of the North 2. Spirit of the Noth installs as 1.0 and there's no update, which surprises me since google says it was released for PS5 in 2021 and I thought my PS4 version got an update in 2022. Anyway, no idea when I'll get to these. I'm working on Dungeons of Hinterburg right now and Doom is coming out soon.

I added a disclaimer to the May lineup above, but early leaks from folks getting their hands on physical copies of Doom: The Dark Ages seems to indicate both the PS5 and Series X versions have less than 300MB of data on disk. After Indiana Jones, this another example of a poor non-effort disc build from Microsoft. If physical is something you care about, I'd be highly skeptical of any Microsoft or Ubisoft releases from here on.

Unfortunate but not at all surprising. Microsoft wouldn't have even needed multiple discs for Doom since it's under 100GB but they clearly don't care about physical media or preservation in the slightest (even though they love to talk about how they support them).

Spirit of the North 2 came and it installs from the disc as 1.02. There is then an update to 1.04. I haven't played either yet because still working on DOH right now and then I want to do Doom. Speaking of which, I cancelled my order for the physical since that is pointless. I do not sell games. I buy physical in case we all lose access someday. Helps me to sleep at night lol. I don't need a paperweight though.

Did anyone pick up Phantom Breaker Battlegrounds Ultimate? I was curious how the on-disc build turned out.
