Say what you want about his tactics, but Kanye West is a businessman. The fact that this thread was made and is talking about his outburst proves he gets his desired effect.

I think "Single Ladies" should've won, simply because it created such a sensation.

Taylor Swift is in denial about what genre she belongs to. She's not a country artist. And Swift's "You Belong With Me" has a hook in it that was lifted directly from a Bowling For Soup song.

Beyonce should've won.

Actually I didn't start this thread until after the Lady Gaga performance...I just had to mention the Kanye West BS in keeping with the whole "What the F--- is wrong with MTV nowadays" theme.

Speaking of WTF and Lady Gaga, she's now accepting an award with her face completely covered and she's accepting the award "for God and for gays"......is the planet getting stupid?

Not being mean or anything but Pink has some balls to be doing acrobatics on an MTV awards show. With all the other WTF moments, we don't need to add "professional singer with no acrobating experience and a pink heart pasty plummets onto stage" as one of those moments.
