If you need a 3D panel and can't find a TV or they're too expensive, try to get a 3D monitor. The 3D is fine, you can get either passive or active, depending on the maker, some were even marketed as TV monitors, the best of both worlds.

What's the model number of your Acer monitor? How big is it?

I have a Valerion StreamMaster Plus2 triple laser 4K projector. It's not their highest end model but gives me cinema-quality 3D on my bedroom wall.
