I don't think so. But the colors are too bright after exiting HDR with DSC DisplayPort, forcing me to restart the computer.
It's not the end of the world. My Sony A80K has far better HDR than this Dell U4025QW. I'm just not using the TV for gaming right now because I can't set up my special rolling desk here. Too many games require aiming and moving at the same time, and I don't like doing so with my thumbs. The sound from the speaker system cut out several times when I tested the RE4 remake a few days ago, reminding me how crappy eARC is after my monitor had been using my old graphics card's only HDMI output for four months. I plan to use the second HDMI output as a fake 800x600 display that will send sound directly to the AVR. I did that before upgrading to HDMI 2.1 three years ago. Back then I used a DisplayPort to HDMI adapter for the actual picture. You can't see the display and have to be careful not to move your mouse or any windows/programs into it. It's absurd that AMD and Nvidia haven't come up with an audio-only HDMI stream. |
