I also bought an LG Blu ray disc drive and it had so many problems

i would not recommend LG Blu ray disc drives to any one. I faced a lot more problems than mentioned over here.

My LG blu ray drive has been flawless so far.

I'm currently running the LG BH-08 with an eVga 8800 GTS 512mb. I can play blu-ray movies flawlessly on my LG 42" TV. Doesn't seem to work on my 32" in the bedroom (gives me an 'unsupported video signal'), but it's not a big deal. I just move the computer when I need to play a region locked movie, which isn't very often.
