I wonder if they are pulling an Amazon.com. Meaning that they ship to those who paid full price first. Kind of like how Amazon waits to ship to those who don't have Amazon Prime.

Your are probably right. I am going to end up upgrading to Amazon Prime very soon, because I am tired of waiting a few days longer than my own brother to receive th same exact shipments.

I ordered 3 movies back on 9/5/07 still nothing. I called customer service yesterday and they told me that the back log because of the systme upgrade should be cleared up and I should receive my movies in the next 7 to 10 days.

Question Delay..

Yeah...I was told the same thing too when I called....I ordered on 9/5 as well....are you going to stick with it or cancel? I have Amazon Prime so it might be worth the few extra bucks.

I cancled my order and went to best buy and picked up what I had ordered through them. Who knows if my cancelation will actually go through though as I still haven't received an email saying they have canceled it. Oh well, I'll just send them back if they ever do get around to shipping it.

For the savings I'm getting, I can wait another week or ten days.

My BB discount came to be 5 bucks cheaper since there wasn't shipping. I used the 25% discount on my Warner order btw.

The amazon delay is new to me. Maybe I'm just in a good location...or maybe because I never get less than the fastest shipping method. I only say this because on Tuesday, when I hunted & hunted for Smallville S6 BD & couldn't find it, I eventually caved that evening and I ordered it from amazon. I got notice the next day that it had shipped and (because I got next day shipping) it was on my doorstep on Thursday around noon. I do not have Prime or anything like that, but I do live in Fl and that seems to help with the speed of these things sometimes(being so close to the P.O.M. I guess).

Anyway, just thought I'd share my experience. Can't speak for Warner because I almost never order online(scary lol) and NEVER from the studio's site(just a gut feeling), IF I do cave and do it online.

That's a good idea, Amazon Prime is pretty amazing. It's a little costly, but it pays for itself over time though.

Default Warner Orders Update

I just finished talking to customer service.

After Warner upgraded their system, they are having a problem with the system giving out tracking numbers, so they are unable to ship until this problem gets fix. She said there's no ETA on fixing the problem, but they were just told about this problem today. She told me they should have more information later on and to call back later.

Also Warner had production delays on Smallville Season 6 on Blu-ray and that's why it's hard to find.

http://www.highdefdigest.com/news/sh...ction_Snag/993

"There was a small production delay that impacted getting product orders to retail accounts. The issue has been resolved and we're in the process of shipping the balance of retail orders."
