Default Orders through Warner Bros.

Hi everyone. I was just curious if others were still waiting on their Kubrick movies to ship through Warnervideo.com? I just shot Warner an email concerning my order placed on 10/05 and am waiting for a response. This is really frustrating considering these movies are readily available at my local retailers. I was really looking forward to watching the Shining on Halloween.

I ordered 2001, Eyes Wide Shut, Full Metal Jacket (Deluxe) and Clockwork Orange a week ago. I'm in San Francisco and they arrived last Thursday. It was shipped Wednesday with UPS Next Day Air from somewhere in Illinois. Quicker than I had expected. For some reason, though, I got the shipment notice email today.

Placed the orders when they were announced because I heard they were quicker than Amazon. What a mistake. I haven't gotten any of them and don't expect to until I'm a senior citizen.

I talked to a rep on the phone today who couldn't tell me if any of them have shipped or not. She said she would cancel what hasn't shipped and will let me know tomorrow what's what. I'm not holding my breath.

I can tell you that Best Buy has all of the titles except EWS. Was in this past weekend and they had about 3 copies of each left.
My BB finally has the new Blu set out now. Tripled the space for the discs while hd dvd did not gain a thing!
